CLEAR PAINT PROTECTION

How to care for your genuine Toughfilm Paint Protection Film.
Congratulations on your purchase of the Genuine Toughfilm  Paint Protection film . This film is made up of a polyurethane material topped with a clear-coat layer to exhibit a paint like gloss. It requires special care and maintenance in order to maintain its glossy finish , overall look and performance. The following must be considered when cleaning and maintaining the film.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
1 You will see a few bubbles under the film . This is normal and it will go away once the film has cured ( up to 45 days).
2 Dust and wash the film regularly to prevent  dirt build up around the edges  and to maintain its glossy finish .
3 Use a liquid based car wash soap, extra soft wash mitt and water to wash your film.
4 When using a high  pressure water hose to wash , keep it at least 36" away from the film edges and surface.
5 Wipe down with a clean and dust free chamois and finish off with a microfiber drying towel.
6 Use a small toothpick or detailing cloth to softly remove any wax build up around the edges.
7 Bird droppings and bug splats, when left on with out washing, may leave stains that normally bleach out in the sun after a few weeks.
8. Meguires #9 polisher is recommended to buff out scratches on the film .
